It had been a while, since the loss of the baby. Since then - Blake had reclused herself in her apartment, barely talking to or even seeing a soul. It was a rare thing of her, buy the people who were closest to her besides her family were being avoided... Guillotine, Gryffin, Fallon... Even [/i]El[/i]. It was a hard thing. But she felt she needed to be reclused away from her major distractions in order to get her mind completely straight. But today, she finally decided to leave her apartment... S[/color]he had showered today, as she had done every day, got dressed, and grabbed her keys, her purse, and said goodbye to her 'cave' for the day. As she hopped into her vehicle, she thought. She wondered where she wanted to go. And then it hit her! She wanted to shop! She was still a girl, after all. And maybe getting a few new things might make her feel a little better about herself. Just, maybe. As she pulled away from the complex, a weight lifted off her shoulders and she was able to breathe appropriately again. Her destination now - her favorite clothing store. Once she got there, she sat in the car, parked in front of the store. Almost as if that big step was too much. Maybe she should turn around and head home? But she was already here, and before her mind could make a decision to leave, Blake was already out of the car and headed inside. She was polite to the woman who greeted her and headed to the section that was dedicated in her sizes. She winced some as she looked. Some, if not most - El would like. Cause it was classy - which was sexy to him. Modest and classy. Her head tipped to the side as she picked a white tank top off the rack with a beautiful laced back. The picture on it was feathers, much matching the feather she wore on a choker, 'round her pale neck. She smiled at the shirt and the style. There were even roses in it too! She smiled and held onto this one. Ok. Maybe not completely modest, but a little bit of sexy never hurt. No, she did not dress for El. She dressed for herself. He helped show her what looked nice, and ok, aswell as attractive. Since then, she tried to dress that way, cause she believed she looked lovely. She held onto the shirt, made her way around to find other things.[/blockquote]

Today was a shopping sort of day. That much Rose knew. She had been itching to go out and get some new outfits for the hell of it, because honestly, it had been ages since she went shopping...for herself anyways. Rose had went just last week to find the twins new outfits, for they were growing awfully fast. God, just think, a year ago the twins didn't even exist in the world yet, and now here they were, growing up and being happy. They were starting to develop their own features now, and take on the genes of their parents. Of course though, there was a bit of a dark secret that the twins held that only Rose, her mate Weylyn, and a small few others knew. The twins held separate parents. The boy, Felkin, was Weylyn's biological son, while the girl Annabelle belonged to a certain Hellhound by the name of Guillotine. And to those who knew the hellhound, one could start to see small little features that resembled Gil that were showing up on Anna's face. Thankfully though, she resembled Rose far more than Gil, though she could see him in her every time she looked at him. Wey though, still loved the tiny little girl as if she were his own, and he had long since forgiven Rose for her weakness around Guillotine. It had been a moment beyond her control, and Wey knew this now. Because after all, there was an annoying little guest that had been living inside of Rose since she first developed her Nephilim powers. But, now was not the time to dwell on the inner demon, now was a time for shopping!
Rose pulled up towards the shopping complex, parking and then shutting off the engine before stepping out. It took her a moment to temporarily break the habit of walking towards the back of the car to grab the kids, because they weren't here with her today. Wey had to graciously volunteered to take care of the kids for the day while Rose went out and enjoyed herself for a bit. He really was a sweetheart, and she was so glad he had returned back into her life. She had been lost without him after all, as pathetic as that sounded.
With a little happy sigh, Rose strolled off into Luna's. This place had been one of her favorite haunts to roam when it came to shopping. Despite the store being a little different for her considering the normal clothes she tended to wear. Rose was finally breaking away from her rebellious teen years, and was wearing more and more...girly stuff she supposed. Though she did still like to prance about town with her combat boots, dark jeans and band tee-shirts from time to time. Today though, she was wearing a simple royal purple tank-top with a black jacket that went over it, light jeans, and black boots.
She looked about the store, half expecting Gil to come prancing up to her. But alas, he no longer worked here, as far as Rose knew. Despite his unstable personality, Rose did miss her Hellhound very much. He had been her closest friend when she had needed one most. And even though the two fought a lot, there were times where they had been so sweet and gentle to each other that it was so...out of character for the both of them. After all, they were both hellish figures, and yet they still had a soft side. Rose was only half demon after all, but her human side was starting to prevail over her darker intentions now. Which was good, considering she needed to settle down for her family.
Rose strolled over to some shirts she seen hanging on racks, and gleefully she began shuffling through them. She loved shirts with graphics on them the most...perhaps that was still her younger self speaking. Well, Rose was still young, just...not a teenager anymore she guessed. Ah Hell though, she loved graphic shirts. She plucked out a charcoal colored shirt with an intricate tribal design of a big cat of sorts, a cheetah maybe? It had a lower collar, which Rose liked, and the fabric was soft and smooth. She held it up against herself and studied herself in one of the small, nearby mirrors. Pleased that it appeared it would fit her smaller frame, she hung it about her arms and strolled off to another rack. Perhaps she should have gotten a cart? Ah, she'll get one in a bit if she needed it.
She made her way to another rack, and turned to see another girl nearby. What caught Rose's eye was the startling bright red hair. Rose loved red hair, and she even had red dyed into her little spiky bangs that contrasted with her naturally black locks. Rose studied the shirt the girl held, and a bright little smile crossed her lips. Feathers and roses? Both of her favorite things right there!
"That right there, is an awesome shirt." Rose she said brightly to the girl. She looked just a couple years younger than herself. "I totally say you should get it. And show me where you found it!" Rose said with a little laugh. Ok, she wanted the shirt mainly because it had roses on it...yes, she was a little narcissistic in that sense. But she did adore roses for more than just sharing her name with the flower. They were beautiful, and held a deeper meaning to her.
Rose peered over at the rack the girl had taken off to, and she followed a bit discreetly, but she veered off to some jeans that were nearby. She pulled out a pair of bleached jeans with a few tears purposefully put into them. She checked the size of them, glad to see they were her size, but she held it against her legs too, just to see how long or short they were. They were a little long, but nothing the boots won't do to help with that. She peeked over at the girl again, strangely intrigued by her. Or perhaps she felt a little desire to talk to her a bit, maybe even earn herself a new friend. God knows she needed at least another female friend. Too many boys in her life, she realized.
"So what brings you out here today? Just getting out for a while and shopping?" Rose asked nonchalantly, just making small talk.
ooc: sorry I took so long to reply! I didn't know it was here XD and sorry the post is so long ;-; XD

It was a pair of black straight legs - not made of denim or the soft material that a lot of different color pants were made of. But it almost beamed off light even the slightest. They looked... Nice. Like, she could casually wear them or for a nice function. Even an interview. She was sold! She held onto them, after seeing they had them in her size. She had forgotten her joy of being a girl. In this aspect, anyways. It wasn't long until the strange woman asked her where she had gotten the tank top. The small blond blinked a bit and found herself smiling, "Over here." she said softly and approached the rack, but her scanning green optics indicated that the other female had caught her attention to something else. It was fine. Blake was the exact same way. So, she waited patiently and green eyes were caught by a dress. She blinked and was waiting for the girl to arrive at the rack.
Once Rose arrived, Blake quickly parted and made her way to the dress. She put her findings down for but a moment and held the dress to her slender, yet curved frame. Pregnancy gave her a rather flattering figure. She was thankful for that, but not. Because it was a reminder of her child. But, at least she felt pretty on the outside, but was getting over the depression, inside. Back to this dress. It went to her knees, a spaghetti strap dress with THIN straps. The fabric was satin. A deep forest green satin with sheer cloth over it with a green leafed pattern that actually looked beautiful. The 'neck' was a v-line. It showed a bit of cleavage, but, a black shrug over her shoulders would look nice with this dress. She put it in her pile and smiled happily, but nearly squealed when she found it in teal and blue.
After grabbing the other two dresses, she nearly jumped to the girl talking to her. The rose scented witch blinked to this woman speaking to her. More curious as to why. But, lets face it. One more friend couldn't hurt. The blond rose smelling woman thought carefully of her answer and looked back to Rose, "Just having a shopping day to myself." she grinned softly, "Yourself?" A quick glance around forced Blake to realize, this could be more fun with another person. Course, maybe this girl might be weirded out by her sudden invitation. But, maybe she could use another friend, just like Blake could. The witch sparked an idea as those intense green eyes flickered with delight. She quickly looked back to Rose with a sweet smile, "Would you like to join me?"
"I'm Blake." She said politely. A smile waiting on her rosey pink lips, as she waited on the other girls response.

Ugh, silly Rose. She had almost forgotten the joys of shopping for just herself rather than for others. Sure, picking out cutesy baby clothes for the twins was enjoyable, but it was actually quite a chore too. The kids were growing very quickly, well, quickly in human standards anyways. Rose and Wey had actually spoken about this not so long ago, saying that the mixed genes must be making the kids grow quick. It was a bit saddening, but at the same time, that meant they could do more things with the kids a lot sooner rather than later.
Oh...again, silly Rose. She spaced off it would seem, having her attention caught by other clothing. She turned her head so her crimson gaze caught sight of the blonde female and she made her way over, grinning widely. Hmm...strange for her to be so cheery, well, maybe not. Rose wasn't around other women all that often, except for her sister, and Akeelah whom had been living with her for a while now. But, Akeelah wasn't exactly a girly girl. Which was fine. Rose wasn't the epitome of femininity either, but it was always nice to chat with a girl who had more femininity than herself. And, maybe she was judging too quickly, which she did by sheer accident.
The girl was observing a dress, to which Rose remembered she had bought the very same style of dress in black not so long ago for a dinner date for herself and Weylyn. She observed the other colors, but then found it silly to buy the same exact dress again. Rose will find something...different and surprise her boyfriend during another date or something. She smiled a bit to herself, wondering when their next oh so incredibly romantic dinner dates would happen again. Next time, Rose would plan it she thinks. Oooh now all she wanted to do was go home and plan....no, not right now Rose. Silly.
"I totally think you should try that in teal." Rose said with a smile, looking at the teal dress and back to the girl, feeling it would match her quite well. "Oh I'm here for pretty much the same reason." She said with a grin in response to Blake's question. "It's nice to meet you Blake. I'm Rose." She said with another smile at Blake before her eyes rested on a nice dark purple blouse. Instinctively she shuffled through the rack with the blouses and pulled out one in her size, well, hopefully her size anyways. It's hard to tell what actually fits anymore. "It's nice to get out and shop for yourself every now and then. Am I right?" Rose said with a little laugh. Ok, already this was a bit fun. Blake seemed nice, interesting even. And, she certainly didn't seem like she was the type to be ripping her throat out like every other thing out there it seemed. "Do you come here often?" She asked curiously. Rose use to come here so often, usually because Guillotine was working here. But, since the twins were born it's been increasingly difficult to get out as much. She wondered though if she had ever seen Blake around though. Maybe she had?
